Hi. I'm looking for an unwanted MY16-AT card for my AW2400.
I'm needing x2 ADAT inputs so i can run x16 channels from my 2 preamps

Im a proud owner of a NOS! AW2400 that i got yesterday evening
One MY8-AD24 was given on top for free!!!
Payed 1200€ (approx. $1700) for all. I think it was a steal.

I want to send ADAT from two seperate preamps to a recorder that has no facility to accept clock data except in the ADAT stream of audio. Both pre's have BNC facility. Do i need a seperate master clock? (is there such a thing?)or can i link PRE...

I found the AW2400 a bit disappointing, although I can see the reason why.
In, set the 008 to be WC slave and tell the AW2400 to slave to the ADAT input from the 828 and Bob should card slots instead of one.

The Y96k.
The AW2400 will only work with the Y96K card.

Although not the most powerfull cubase it does allow for all ... .
I copy all wavs to my pc where i run a cubase LE4 which came with a recorder i bought .
Once i have recorded my tracks.
I use a differnt technique.
The world is to the inventiv ! Nice trick.

I was happy (almost) with my AW2400 multitrack recorder at the heart of recording rig with decent mic's and pre's.

I copied the song on the AW and backed up the copy .
When I backed up my aw1600-projects for transfering them to the AW2400.

Anyone had this problem: mixing a song to stereo track. the recorder stops at exactly same point (tried 3 times). If play/rec pressed, it moves for 1/2 second and stops. It will 'play' past the point ok... there are no conflicting markers/locators at ...

If my mate wants the files he needs to link his computer directly to the AW2400.

I laid down some tracks and went to add effects and after setting send levels,etc.
I couldn,t get any effects.
Went back to older tracks and tried adding reverb,etc.
No luck.
What have I done?
I hope this explains my problem.

On my AW2400, if I select Initial Data scene to set up a new song, it pulls the return faders.
Almost in passing.
I reformatted HD on AW2400 and I am back to normal.
I transferred my tunes onto my computer.
