Hi All,
I was just wondering if anyone can share their experiences with me. Our family (me, hubby and 2 young children) moved over to North Sydney last year and are settling in to the aussie life style well. We've not sorted out private health insurance...

I have private health insurance with maternity benefits, and still chose to go public, because).
We have health insurance (mainly for financial reasons since we earn over the medicare surcharge was fantastic.

Himself is due to arrive in 3 weeks or so and I'd like to breastfeed but it was such a disaster last time, I can't see it working. I don't really know how best to approach it to make it work this time! I'm going to try and have a chat with the hospital...

Not sure if enough people know this but there is a breast feeding bank in ireland who you can donate BM to. its used to help premature babies and sick babies that need to stay in hospital/incubators after they're born. I just rang them up to...

They also told me that mothers of premie babies actually have different milk as their bodies work on overdrive and you produce more fats and lipids in your milk to help....

Jess, I know how you feel about the whole bottle baby thing... I couldn't do it past 6 months as she was always attached to me as she got older (feeding 2 hourly) and Keziah is a much happier baby now that she's formula fed..

Breastfeeding vegan babies i didnt know if it's common knowledge or not but did you know that there is no such thing as vegan formula? at least not in america....just one of the many,many,MANY reasons to breastfeed our babies

On a bill right now to put a health warning on formula telling moms that not breastfeeding their babies and baby.

So I am 29 recently married and all I can think of is babies, we are not ready financially or emotionally but I have this constant worry that I will not be able to have kids, cause I have never been pregnant.

Anyone out there who has a premature bub? My daughter was born 9 weeks early, at 1200grams. She is now 21 weeks old. We´ve just hit our first medical hiccup and I´m so confused and could really just use someone to talk to who´s been through the same thing...

Do you supplement your baby, and with what? i've always been pretty chilled out with my diet, i eat a varied diet get more than my 5 a day and feel healthy in general. never really worried in pregnancy, nor till now.
but past few days i seem to be fretting...
