I want to start a library for DD but I need some suggestions for some great first books...books with substance, not just pictures of animals. Some that are great at six months but that will also be great for her to grow with into toddlerhood.

I keep one for each of my 3 kids. It's hard to keep up with them sometimes but I make sure I do. My Mom kept a very accurate one for me and I cherish it- So I wanted to do the same for my kids!! What about you?

The only post-baby books I read were Happiest after that where it says what your baby should and could be doing developmentally.
