Money is so tight with this little one on the way, and I am really worried about actually getting the things that I really really NEED from my registry. Everyone already knows the sex of the baby and I fear that I'm just going to get swamped with infant...

FWIW - we knew DD was a girl, and we still got the vast majority of our registry items to make those purchases ... .

Think that it makes the person of honor at a shower, baby or bridal, look gift grabby.
Can someone please help me with ideas on how to recycle the cards LO has gotten from his baby showers and such? Im organizing and need some inspiration. Cant seem to throw them away.

You should not have to make your own baby shower store bought cards/cakes/etc and don't know how/don't want to throw any more thought into a party.
Sounds like your SILs are being huge b1itches.
