I'm really just curious--- Why do some women drop most to all of the baby weight that they gain and others will not drop any of it?

The test at the doctors office can only pick up HCG about a week earlier than an at home one. It is possible you were briefly pregnant and it did not continue. Go with your instinct. I was told I was not pregnant and I am.
