You can fire off an android.intent.action.CALL Intent with the phone number as the URL (as you're doing) or android.intent.action.DIAL with the phone number as the URL (again) .
There are two ways to instantiate a phone call.

I believe that the back button will send the HTTP headers that were sent to the site the first time to newwebsite.com, and then hit back (meaning they wanted to go back in time, through their browser history of the back button....
