What is LED backlit display? A laptop vendor told me that some laptops have led-backlit display which is superior to normal display. What exactly is the difference? Is it better to opt for backlit display? Is it better for the eyes? If it has batteries, there is simply no way to turn it off as it is most likely that the lights are independent of anything else . Unless something like that was written into the driver itself, its highly unlikely .
