A laptop vendor told me that some laptops have led-backlit display which is superior to normal display. What exactly is the difference? Is it better to opt for backlit display? Is it better for the eyes?

Most displays these days are LED backlit (the other big choice is cold cathode fluorescent lamps the system, and look for something that will work well in your target environment.

If it came with some sort of driver,....
If it has batteries, there is simply no way to turn it off as it is most likely that the lights are independent of anything else .
Unless something like that was written into the driver itself, its highly unlikely .

In the BIOS, there should be a backlit keyboard option in one anyone tell me if the Satellite A665-S6100x has a backlit keyboard, if not which models do have over to "power management".
They are located above the number keys.

What are the best backlit mechanical options? Mech noob here.
I'm looking for a top of the line mechanical keyboard - preferably Red or Brown switches - with backlit keys. I don't think they get good reviews in these parts, but so far my top 2 options...
