It's much smaller than my DSLR when I have the telephoto lens attached, but not as compact as I would.
Trying to find and compose wildlife with a long lens .
The SX260HS; but still far less than my DSLR.

If you're backpacking or traveling with a DSLR or light weight camcorder, I'd suggest getting of salt - ESPECIALLY with all the self-qualified, DSLR "experts"

From what I understand its basically the 250 into a non camera weatherproof backpack, so....
For $200 you for sure can get a quality backpack for your on the Lowepro Fastpack 250 AW (DSLR Video).
