Hi all.
hope you can help. i have a syncra silent 4.0. and want to create a backup for it. using a dpdt relay, inverter and a couple of 12v batterys in paralell.
i purchasd an inverter modified sine 1000w. i hooked it to the pump and all i got was a load...

We had a thread in here last year where a pump wouldn't even run on a generator because the pumps flawlessly when switching....
It runs.
Recirc pump (ViaAqua 2300) but I'm sure that would significantly reduce the battery life.

Hello. I am planning my backup power strategy in case of a power failure. I have all my equipment set, but now I need to figure out how to handle my apex.
My plan is to buy a 12v power supply from Neptune ( unless I can find one somewhere else cheaper...

I really don't need powered until the battery runs....
Off a UPS, then that's a different story.
A small UPS in the 300 watt range would run that, your router really want to power your pumps, etc.
needs through the 12v wall wart.

I moved into my house durring this winter and now going through spring
thaw, it has also been raining for 3 days straight and now the sump pump

at all, it isn't desirable to start the generator the power
issue to the homeowner, and won't maintain the Battery Backup Unit.
