What's The Difference Between Boar And Badger Hair Shaving Brush?
Disregard the comment about high end badger brushes being floppy. You can get them anywhere from super stiff to super floppy, depending on the brush. The main difference is that badger hair is softer and retains more water.

Badger up or badger down?
Until finding this forum, the only type of brush I ever used for over 20 years was the cheap boar ones I found in drug stores. I always stored them bristles up and none of them lasted longer than 3 years. Now, I have better brushes, but I'm going to store them bristles down anyway. I believe in capillary action, but I trust capillary action and gravity more.

Glock 18 Badger anyone?
By the time you get your Glock out of it's shoulder holster and fix the stock to it. I will already have my UZI deployed and on target. You can easily conceal a larger weapon than a Glock in a shoulder rig. Glock 18 would come into play for an IWB type of carry.

Lap Badger rings?
Thats why I hit all of my rings with a lapping bar just to be sure. If it doesnt need it, it shows very fast and I stop without taking off a whole lot of metal, but I can honestly say that the only rings that I have hit with a lapping bar that showed that it didnt need it was Seekins.

Best type of badger hair for coarse beard?
I use a silvertip for creams which I lather in a bowl. Normally I face lather and for that I've found a best badger with a short loft is best for me. I like a lot of backbone in the brush for raising the beard.
