Just wondering if anyone uses the standard oven to cook in and if so how good is it and how economical to run,please feel free to let us know what you cook.trying to work out if having one is worth it .

Most dry turkey comes from over cooking, place in pre-heated oven....
Cover the bird in butter mixed with whatever spices you want and cover in foil and cook for 4 hours from oven as soon as pop up goes off and you wont need to baste.
