The most recent posts regarding this question are from 2007. wondering if qantas is more strict in enforcing it's 15lb carryon baggage allowance these days. i'll be flying internationally, and 15lbs isn't very much allowance at all!

Qantas is fairly strict with carry on luggage.
That's because you have a huge checked luggage allowance and inflight stuff should be for use inflight.. .
Flying into and out of the US they are usually fairly strict .
