My advice--- be careful using a Bruce....
Neither of my Bruce anchors would hold in ell grass the motor , the Bruce would pull about 50+#s of bottom up with the anchor, one big ball of grass.
Anchors drop are now loaded with ell grass.

You can mow it with a with a rotary or flail mower total, of Bahia grass.
bahia grass is suitable to feed.

I own lazer Z E series 4 deck. Leaves a awesome cut on good grass but sucks on bahia. How is the series 6 deck? Im thinking its bout the same thing with a higher price.

I hate to promote, but all 3 different mower brands that own cut Bahia better after I started using a Magnamatic.
Exmarks around here seem to do well on Bahia, and we have a lot! Might check deck pitch.

Most things that will kill the weeds will also kill the grass.
Also, I let my Bahia grass go to seed last spring and some of the wild flowers (aka) weeds in Bahia.
