My 3 year old daughter goes to a ballet class and the annual show is approaching.
The teacher wants £35 for a tutu and hairband, but I've sourced the exact same tutu online for £12.95. She has given me various excuses regarding...

And yes the flats are comfortable if they fit right .
But yes it's like a leotard for you to dance in it.
Won't need to wear a tutu for a while if you're just starting out.

And yes, that's Dani's tutu pattern as a base...
To be a more 'romantic' style skirt in the softness and drape but shorter than a standard tutu.

Dd is only 3.5yrs but has been muttering about ballet classes and Irish dancing (they 'do' some Irish dancing at playschool and she has a friend with an older sister who knows all there is to know about ballet).
I think she's a bit young at the moment...

Its a mix of modern, hip hop and ballet.
