Hey all!
Last night i dreamt of toasted banana bread with lashings of butter and now it's all i can think about lol s I'm after a recipe for banana bread or better yet banana & walnut bread but rather than picking a random recipe off the net i thought...

A friend asked me if my banana bread recipe could be made in the bread machine (I doubt it, one lines the pans with buttered parchment, bakes for about 2.5 hours at 275). So, I did a search on the Internet and found 3 recipes. One is for a yeast Banana...

A yeast banana bread I would think would be like regular bread but with bananas - not what we usually think....
Otherwise banana bread doesn't need kneading or rising so not sure if it would work.

Does anyone have a good banana bread recipe? Preferably one with walnuts in, or that would go well with me putting walnuts in. I make banana cakes pretty regularly but tried banana bread for the first time and it took 4 times as long to cook as the recipe...

Hi I used to buy walnuts at Aldi (low cost food store) in Chicago about 15 years ago. There was a banana bread recipe on the back of that package. I was wondering if anyone had it. I know it's a stretch, but just thought I'd ask. Thanks much. ps i think...

I had some bananas that were very ripe so I put them in a zip lock bag and threw them in the freezer. I was going to make some banana bread so took them out to thaw and there is liquid in the bag. Are the bananas still good to use? Do I drain the liquid...
