I saw VH in Charlotte on the 25th. I first have to say that Kool & The Gang were real good and performed at a multi faceted HIGH level, regardless of whether VH fans actually 'like' them.

Here's the kicker: I still LOVE hearing DLR's studio vocals mixed over Eddie's guitars.
I've mentioned this for years and was flamed.
Live vocals is definitely the band's weakest link.

CMA listed several bands whose lead singer DID....
A distinction between bands who replace a singer for nostalgia/tour purposes and a band who replaces with those that say "It depends on the band." A case can be made either way.
