I have tried 4 different kinds of stripper, heat and sanding, pretty sure the door is old, on the side in the picture I have managed to remove all the layers of paint. Turned it over to the other side and used a scrapper to remove the top layer of paint...

This is why because the cost you will spend on it a new door on that.
Sanding is the only way to remove to change it, and re install a new one .
The barn wood said he is 99% sure that is what is on the door.
