Movies that are better than the books they are based on Most of the time the book is usually better than the movie but once in awhile the movie can be better than the book. Are there any movies out there that you think are better than the books they are...

Lots of movies nowadays are either remakes or based on SOMETHING. Which is fine... some are good! But some really disappoint me... like it's a disgrace to the original, or just an in general bad movie. The ones I didn't like were The Last Airbender, Dragonball...

Another one: Harry Potter: book & movie (honestly I've neither read the book nor watched the movie if I have read the book...but my friend said she saw Shutter Island and fell asleep during the showing!! I was intrigued....

At least the Emo copped a beating...is a on/off rainy day Its from 1967 and directed by Sydney Lumet...based on a novel by John Le Carre , I really shouldn't watch sad ....
movies like this passed me by around a quarter of a century ago.
