My bathroom sink faucet is leaking and I believe the washer needs to be changed.
It is a one handle faucet.
Where is the washer?
Do I have to somehow figure out how to remove the handle?
The handle lifts up and you can go either way for hot and cold.

Jack If it's the faucet I'm thinking of, you'll need to unscrew the barrel for a repair kit.

And the opened the valve to see if the faucet is plugged up? Sorry--I reread you post--you tried that---Turn from the supply line--before the faucet.

Its hard to pull the tub faucet out and put it back. My husband took it apart and oiled it. He said the oil will work after we continue to use it. Getting company and Im afraid they will have a hard time using the shower.

Depending on make and model of the faucet, oil will dissipate you should use plumbers grease holds not use any oil on this part...they make special faucet lube that will not harm other parts.

Also, instructions on how to do it.

My sprayer is to the side....
My faucet is a bronze finish Phister and they sent me a whole brand new faucet!
My faucet comes up enough to get large pots under it.
Pretty quickly usually, so I do not need a place for dishes to drip dry .
