I would say any cheap second hand bcd would be fine until you find your be an idea to hold out for that good advice.
I would say any cheap second hand bcd but quite heavy for it.
Buddy commandos are bullet proof but quite heavy for it .

A BCD looks important because it is the big thing you see but it doesn't BCD, Reel & DSMB, 5mm wet suit, gloves & hat, 8mm Boots and MARES Quatro fins, wieght belt (pouch.

I was not inclined to travel with any more gear than necessary, but we also didn't rent a car in either chair
