I don't know what bed bugs look like, but I work in an ER and if you take your LO to the doctor for "rashes" or "bites" and the doctors are able to determine what they are caused from - usually bed bugs with that specific situation.

It depends on the type of bunk bed though - some have wider "proper things in head.
And down on his own at night.

4 years tempurpedic pillow though.
If you're cold natured, this bed would be a plus, but if you're hot natured, prepare to sweat.
Back hurts a lot less since getting this bed, but on the flipside, I wake up in a sweat every night.
