Which is better belly dance or hip hop? Which would loosen me more as im not a great dancer, hip hop or belly dance? And for how long will I have to do it to feel more confident in dancing?

As for belly dance, it seems to me more gentle on the body than hip hop as the movements are more fluid....
It will be more fun if your routine is varied to loosen stiff joints .
One class a belly dance a week and one of hip hop.
