Is belly dancing a good workout? I just did a beginners belly dancing class and really enjoyed it but I didn't really feel that 'worked out' afterwards it feels like its a good thing to do and I really like it but at the same time I want to lose weight...

Hopefully someone can clear this up: Is belly dancing low or moderate intensity? I'm never sweating when I practice. However, if I look it up on eTools, it gives me 3 AP for 44 mins. But if I enter it in as low intensity for 44 mins on the calc it only...

Most use 80 cals burned = 1ap.
Here's my standard response about ap:
Either get a heart rate monitor that tracks calories burned .
Sweat is not a good indicator of intensity and I hate that WW uses it as a reference .
