Right now my RAW Bench PB is 552lbs, my Single ply Bench PB is 618lbs in a meet and 639lbs in the gym. My goal for 2012 is a 575lbs RAW Bench and at least a 662lbs single ply bench in a meet...

The goal is bulking up to 319lbs...
My current bodyweight is 297lbs and my fat% is 16% .
I hope by the end, to press 575lbs end of April .

I have been thinking about getting one of those portable benchs for target and or shooting crows way out there..I have looked at several of them on line.Have never seen one for real...Got to wondering if any of you on this site have one or know of someone...

Which model vise is a great vise for sighting/shooting both tube and bottle pcp,s or is a bag prefered for it,s ease and low cost? though spending a few good bucks for a great prouct is ok by me...i think i really would like to get a great functioning...

My opinion on shooting from a bench is sand bags only! I know some shoot off a vise set up shooting bench rest for allot of years on and off, and sand bags have always been the best and most recomended way of shooting....

Thinking about taking a basic entry level approach to this.
Rifle would be a Remington 700 SPS Varmit.
By the time i buy a gun, good scope and all the accessories i figure to be at $1,200.00 or so from an investment standpoint.

Now if you only want to shoot stuff with a "varmint" designation would ....
A genuine sub MOA benchrest rifle will set you back 5 to 10 grand .
Put a custom barrel and bench rest stock on it and blueprint it you may get it down to .25 MOA.

Funny you should say that.
For shooting bags get bulls bags they are good hold the rifle tight.
I make my own sandbags from various basics.
But I don't use a rest when shooting my pistols.

Also, did ESPN really call Jordan McRae "McCrae?" ESPN is a starter, McRae is not .
Pearl always had a deep bench, but he did use the starters in large chunks before utilizing that bench.
