I have a bit of a problem. I have a predominately zoysia front yard, but there is bermuda grass in it also. If I don't do anything at all, which one will take over the yard?
If it is bermuda, how can I get rid of it without hurting the zoysia? IP: Logged...

That sod got plenty of fertilizer at the sod farm .
Just let the grass root in and green up fertilize dormant grass ever.
Please don't use round-up.
It won't hurt the bermuda.

Bermuda grass needs soil temps of 65 to 70 degrees to germinate.
You may want to try the grass mats like the county boys use.
Plant bermuda in the spring.

I am going to buy a bale instead of small quantities and have located a supplier with Coastal Bermuda and Fescue, not sure if it is mixed or if he has two different types. Atother supplier has Orchard and Teff, not to sure what Teff is but they are two...

There is controversy on the Fescue, so I personally would skip it just to be safe that it is pesticide free .
It is justBermuda is fine.
As far as the fescue controversy it is a safe grass.
A bale of coastal Bermuda for 5 bucks.

Again, according work with Bermuda but you'd have to leave the top of border above the soil line since Bermuda...if Bermuda is involved.
The only way to stop that action is to build a barrier .
