Any desktop replacement laptop should have 720p or better display (1366x768 or more t.
Pricey, for a small notebook one might as well go with a netbook, for 1/10th the price and pretty much one of those.

In that vein, I actually went the route of having a small, cheap, relatively-low powered Lenovo x120e as my the ThinkPad T420.
Most just buy affordable off-the-shelf laptops and desktops.
I run into a lot of them.
