When you lodge the lump sum, you can choose to reduce the term of the mortgage to pay down the mortgage until I ....
Personally, I would not change to a shorter term mortgage as it might be difficult to revert whenever have a surplus.

I cannot believe that it was not not doing well. I was using it every day to monitor mortgage rates. I found it to be the best tool to get competitive rates from big and small lenders. Most of the other online sites do not provide access to smaller lender...

These guys humor me since I was an appraiser for a long time before I became a loan officer, about 7 years ago. Basically, they will call BS and hang me out to dry, if my replies deserve it. I might even be disciplined somehow, if I don't give questioners...

You would need to approach whoever gave you your mortgage.
A home, what more can he ask of you? when you have finished your mortgage the property will be yours with someone else.

I was just wondering if it makes any difference as to whether you receive your monthly mortgage interest relief repayment into your funding account for the mortgage account or just have the relief repayments knocked directly off the mortgage...

If you can afford to and choose to save €50 a month, or pay €50 a month... .
If your monthly mortgage payment is €1000 and you are due €50 a month mortgage tax relief, so your effective mortgage payment is €950.
It is completely up to you.

Just a quick question, mortgage 72k over 13 years, looking at new 2 year tracker deal but it has a £499 fee. Is it best to add it to mortgage or pay up front?
Money is tight so I would prefer to add it on but if this is financially not good pls let me...

If the LTV is tight on a rate boundry....
AS long as you can overpay the mortgage without penalty it doesn't.
Just don't leave it for thirteen years.
Obviously any fee you add to the mortgage is going to see interest payable.
It's up to you.
