PS3 obviously.
I like that the console has a higher quality manufacturer so you can really notice that the PS3 is built better.

Which gaming console is better? The XBox 360 or the PS3? What are the pros and cons for each console? We don't know which one to buy. Any suggestions?

PSN does.
Is the best I have had both and the ps3 is much better, the only reason I see to get a Xbox is if you love online and LIVE doesn't get hacked.

OK, so I'm curious... Why didn't Sony go with 512MB of XDR, scrap the GDDR3, and allow both Cell and RSX to have access to 512MB of RAM.
Here are the benefits to this scenerio:
RSX with a 128 bit conection to XDR (same as GDDR3) would have had 50 GB's...

Sony could have been forced into a wierd half cycle limbo hell in which 32MBs of RDRAM which had was 32bit bus at 800mhz .
better than the 2007 ps3 .

I vote for PS3, myself.
Wish I had time to write a more elaborate response...maybe later .
No additional fees to play PS3 online either.
I own both and feel the PS3 offers better exclusives hands down.

To me, Xbox 360 and PS3 seem identical.

I recently bought the oppo bdp-93 and I can tell you it is an amazing player however I compared it to my ps3 slim with 2-3 avi files and picture quality seems better on the ps3 in my eyes.

Remember the PS3 is sold that's not surprising , the PS3 has....
With AVI files that's not surprising , the PS3 has the cell processor and an excellent edge enhancing scaling routine , something most BD players would struggle to match.

It has more memory, it runs quieter, and bluray, and better graphics whise....
I don't know wether xbox has better players than ps3 just cause they pay 60 a month and hardware itself is better in ps3.
