I did not read the former post but, I am thinking... .
I've owned my TT GMT IIc for over one year and the ceramic bezel has held up nicely.
This so far uncommon report sway me from buying a "C." No problems with regards to the ceramic bezel for me.

Great to hear! Knowing that the bezel is now SS the "price increase" making it more than $8600? The fluted bezel on my DJ II was the selling point.

Hi,
I've been looking more closely at Rolex sub dates recently and have noticed a few on SC that have more than one bezel.
Am i right in assuming that it is easier to swap a bezel than the bezel insert/lunette? If so how easy is it?

OK,....
You simply pop the one bezel off and pop the other back on in it's place.
Ive done a couple check it out on utube be careful Yes, it's much easier to change the bezel than the insert since it only requires one step as opposed to two.

Though the OEM 53 bezel matches the face color in its stock configuration beautifully, it does'nt quite go with the aftermarket FFF blue (more a purple) face as well. If I had known that I would have started with the 55 as the host to begin with. If anyone...

In my mind I think a fluted bezel works best with a Jubilee bracelet. However, I am a bit torn about fluted with Oyster.
I think a smooth / domed Bezel works well on Oyster...but apart from that?
It's mostly a matter of taste I suppose - or dictated dial...

Just bought one with fluted bezel - it does look very works nicely with a brushed oyster but better....
The smooth bezel that domed with oyster but I like my combo..
