The Bible for All Its Worth" by Fee and Stuart (I think) brilliant book, goes into the differences between examples of the different genres in the Bible and how they should be worth life changing! Nice question not that bothered....
Looking for recommendations for websites and books that explain gay theology. More specifically, pro-gay arguments explaining tough Bible passages that have respected scholarship. I'm tending to see all the usual conservative stuff instead.

There are more and more Catholic Bible commentaries available for the average lay Catholic. But, what are some of the books used for bible study in colleges and seminaries? Could some list these and perhaps indicate a source?

Incidentally, I've used all Commentary on Scripture series published by... .
The books are expensive, but worth their weight in gold.

You can get pretty lost amongst ....
Sometimes the price.
I believe Young's literal is a good translation as well, and that should be whole bible.
Interesting and worth getting, but it is only the NT, I am looking for a whole Bible.
