So I'm starting to commute back and forth to work on the bicycle in an effort to get in shape. This is about a 25 mile ride, round trip daily.
Currently i have what is referred to as an 'urban' bike -- kinda a mix between a road bike and a mountain bike...

This bicycle has the serial number "MG94029"
Just curious About that frame/serial #...Didn't seem legit to me.
Maybe if a member picked it up they could tell us...

The frame shows welds....
The serial number does indeed start with MG and I'm positive it's original .
At best handle bars, Chain Gard and Frame AMERICA! I looked at this bike today.
There wasn't anything original on the original WW2 Bicycle.

Here's a really good bike show that's coming up this Sunday May 6th at the Jersey Shore in Tuckerton NJ. This is the 3nd annual show and the last one I attended was awesome!! Lots of venders with pleny of bikes and many parts. They also had lots of prizes...

Bicycle vs. exercise bike? On an exercise bike, I could maintain a pace. On a bicycle, I have to stop and start, slow down, speed up, etc according to traffic. Which is better for health and fitness, the heart, etc.?
