Im making a Gender Change bike .I Had two of these girls bikes I sold one & I was hoping to build the other one into somthing .
I happened to find the correct frame & a Tank To build this into a very cool mens bike..So Im off to a good parts gattering...

The bike will be 90 % + JC Higgins Parts with a few a trophy on the way! lol That is a really awesome bike and I really look forward to the progress voltage.

Will a colder bicycle in the winter time be slower than a warmer bike in the summer time?

Extra clothing you will be slower in cold weather, but the bike itself is a rather small part of the speed loss Yes - not the bicycle.
It's not the bicycle it's you.
Weather & the bike still rolled with efficiency.

There might be a few things like a fork with another brand that might not fit your bike, depends on the model, but small things like lights and water bottle holders are pretty....
With the Giant brand name on your Scott bike, there's no problem.

I have this Hawthorne 26" Ladies Bicycle. Bike has bangs and scrapes and rust on the chrome. Has really cool peaked fenders!!
