I am posting this on behalf of someone who lives in the North East, hasn't (nearly) enough money to have a bike built, but wants a mountain bike. He is 7' 2" tall. I've no idea how big a frame he needs (maybe someone can tell me), but does anyone have...

Specialised offer a 23" Rockhopper which is a long bike needs at least a 25" MTB or a 71cm / 28” road bike.
A 24” MTB frame and a 64cm tourer.
