I've been adding a small amount of biodiesel every time I fill up, but it's kind of a hassle to go from one station to the next. Is it advisable to use a red fuel tank to store a bunch of biodiesel in my garage and just add it when I get home from a fill...

NY does not mandate that a biodiesel blend For the record, storing biodiesel....
PA and IL have state-mandated biodiesel requirements (other states probably do too, but I don't remember which states they are).
Be careful.

What are the opinions on whats best and most cost effective. Home brewing biodiesel or installing a conversion kit and running used cooking oil?

If you convert the truck..what....
Would like an X3 answer...yep I'd go with biodiesel.
Big reasons: no need for an extra tank, no excessive filtering of cold, thick oil, bio blends up while trying to avoid breathing the fumes .
Is biodiesel.

Biodiesel Hey guys, I noticed that there is no place for a biodiesel runner. Does anyone here run biodiesel or have thoughts on it? When I can catch up on money and get the time to do it, I plan on getting myself setup with an operation to refine it.

But hydrolysis....
I didn't write down Biodiesel.
Biodiesel Magazine online says water in biodiesel can cause hydrolysis to produce ffa.
Rick A dry wash might fix your current product.
With sodium methylate before it would pass for AN.
