Help me think of a word that describes a fawning biography.
What is a word, kinda like hagiography but not, that would describe a fawning, sychophantic biography of a leader or person in power?
Something that relates to a historical practice of writing...

I wouldn't use paean as a pejorative.
You could, I suppose, describe the author of the biography as a lickspittle.
Is that it's the technical term for the biography of a saint.
