Nephews and nieces- biological vs married into?
I don't feel any closer to my biological nieces and nephews than I do to Chris' brother's kids. We are at the beach currently with their family and I love getting to spend this time with my niece and nephew! We are very blessed in that all of our nieces and nephews live locally so we get to spend time with them very often! source
Prince Harry isn't Prince Charles' biological child?
The idea of a DNA test is considered a gross invasion of privacy of the royal family. James has flat out denied the paternity, saying that the child was born before he even met Diana, Some minor physical similarities notwithstanding, it seems to be merely a nasty rumour. Let me also say that historically the paternity of someone in almost every generation of royals has been questioned. For some reason, the combination of getting that position based entirely on birth parents makes people obsessed with this fact. The paternity of Princes Andrew and Edward was widely question in the 1960's. source
Would you make Tom or Craig as Josie's biological father?
I'd like Josie to be Barbara's daughter, and a half-sister to Paul. That would explain why she and Paul have such a good relationship and why she is defensive of him. source
The single biological parent?
Doesn't this beg the problem of genetic diversity? In theory we have incest laws because of the adverse effects of coupling from too close a genetic blood line. This seems to be about as close to 'too close a blood line' as one can get. source
Adoptees, have you ever met your biological parents?
I had an open adoption so I've always known my birth mother. I want to meet my bio father mainly for medical records. But honestly you should meet them if you want to. If you are thinking about just did it because then you will know and the whole idea will no longer rent space in your head. But if you are fine without knowing who they are then thats ok too. source
