If you had the choice between taking Human Biology or Biology A level, what do you think would be the best choice for a future medical applicant?

Human biology would have saved me from the boring plant and animal stuff in "normal" Biology but some universities only accept Biology and not human biology...

Biology AS Level
Considering doing Biology just for AS Level (Salters Nuffield) to have a varying subject to all my essay subjects.
However, I HATE HATE HATE maths and chemistry. Does the AS Biology course have any chemistry of maths?

The beauty of a textbook is not how many complex concepts it explains, but HOW it does it, in other words, how easy is the read for a non-specialist to follow and understand the concepts. Biology is not rocket science. Explaining in a nice and easy way...
