The beauty of a textbook is not how many complex concepts it explains, but HOW it does it, in other words, how easy is the read for a non-specialist to follow and understand the concepts. Biology is not rocket science. Explaining in a nice and easy way...

Is a bsc in biology useless? every job I looked at says they want people with a msc or higher its either get a masters or another degree in something else just to be safe. I feel like I wasted my time and $$ with this degree and I still have another year...

Just getting a major in Biology in biology "useless", since you need that undergrad knowledge to proceed into the Masters level anyways by flamez1000; Feb 9....
Advanced level cell bio, then a bunch of lab credits after that.

I can see how drainage would....
But a little more dietary diversity can often accomplish more (e.g.., more that I came up with about 10 years ago and tend to emphasize when talking about managing soil biology in OM.
