Biochem/biomed towards Medicine?!? Hey, I really badly wanna be a doctor (maybe neurological area) but i doubt i can get the grades. Tbh i think i am a bit lazy to get into medicine as i know it is really competitive and demanding so somebody suggested...

Can anyone comment on the Biomedical Tecnichian field? Is it growing, in demand? I am 59 and looking to change careers. I have always enjoyed electronics (Ham Radio). I have a Bachelors degree. Not looking for more degrees, just the certificate and job...

What is the best degree for grad entry medicine? What does everyone think is the best first degree for getting into graduate entry medicine? Im thinking Biomed, clinical sciences, medical sciences or physiology?

I heard that you can do law or medicine through biomedical engineering. Is this true? could you get the same type of medical degree by going this route or is it different, you know like engineering is level 8 in NUIG and level 7 in GMIT etc.

Though not sure what that would mean haven't got anything to lose... .
Too, just in case you haven't already looked into it, check that the kings degree for biomed is IBMS ensuring if you're rejected, you're already on a degree course.

The only thing I've ever heard BioMed peeps- If you like the BioMed curriculum....
I started as BioMed, but did-reqs...which isn't hard to do in 4 years (or less).
The summer before I matriculated, as vet school had always been my end goal .
