Are you hitting the keys at the very top ? HP's website says F2, or sometimes F6 uninstalling Windows 8 using that folder .
In 'Control Panel', 'Hardware and Sounds', 'Power Options', click to access BIOS.

The others reference ntkrnlmp.exe, so are pretty generic.
Check your temps, too, if you have a hardware monitor in BIOS, right at this time.
