In MN you can hunt for deer with your bow & arrow until ½ hour after sunset during season.
Now I would say if you were tracking a deer you hit, the same timeline applies for you.
If you want your bow with you, come back in the AM & continue your tracking...

Before the western section it was like the only thing anyone hunted was whitetail and now the western section seems to be just elk. My self I don't hunt whitetail much and have never tried to hunt elk.

BIrds are the ones who have spectacular vision including UV shirt and chinos! Good hunting clothes have no uv brighteners but in reality they wash away with time.
