Not very old for love birds.
Got them from a pet shop so would imagin they were young.
I have a friend whose cat licks all his birds dry after they have had for about 7 years.
And the bird preen him through the wire.

I have pictures house have an attached pen that you can cover with bird netting until you catch/trap that predator losses.
