My desperately wants a pet of her own (we have a "family" dog & cat), and has had bad luck with hermit crabs, fish, and african dwarf frogs. She would love a turtle or lizard or ( ) snake, but I am not keen on those, because of cost & the amount of care...

Please post your photos of birds, any birds, your pets, birds at the zoo, or in the wild. Cockatoos, toucans, macaws are my favorites, but any birds are welcome including cardinals, pigeons, swans, coyotes, kingfishers, doves, and so on.
