There are newbies posting daily by the dozens about "bites." It's as if any bump or itch is automatically considered a "bite", specifically a bed bug bite. No other evidence. They flock here with their "bites."
What can we do about this? It is impossible...

I dont know if Im the exception or the rule but they itch MORE save you a response... .
4) There is no classic identifiable bed bug bite a mosquito bite and a bed bug bite.

So wash ALL bedding, towels, clothes in hot water and... .
Heat kills those buggers.
I would be significantly more concerned with removing the bugs from the house!!! Hopefully you've caught it in time.
You can goggle a treatment for the bites.

Bug Bites on leg.. what is it? okay lately i've been getting several bites on my leg over night
and they swell up to be the size of a quarter and is generally pink is color
they also itch a lot.
Could it be bed bugs???

Long story short....
We've been in our house for over a year with no signs of any bugs other than the occasional spider.
September 27 – 3 bites just down from my armpit
October 3 – 2 bites on my left leg
October 11 – 1 bite on my right hand
October 17...

So i am in Cincinnati. its like a wild bed bug breeding ground down here. i live in a dorm and i know alot of my friends have had bedbugs, without even getting bit, they have found them and our dorm director hires a company to come in and do heat treatment...

I have also seen many postings on this site that carpet beetles can cause "bite" like reactions is correct they are carpet beetle larvae and they can cause bite like skin reactions.

For at least 3 months now, I have been getting bitten regularly. It always happens at night when I get home from work (after 6) and it ONLY happens in my living room. The bites are usually .5 - 1 cm in diameter and usually go away within 1-2 days.

I have been bitten by about every bug imaginable as I used to live in Florida. I have never experienced any type of allergic reaction and normally the longest anything would itch would be a day. Over the counter...

FYI--any reaction to a bug bite is in part allergic response, so--your in diagnosing bed bug bites either.
