I have just finished installing the black on black running boards from DeeZee. These are easy to install, very happy with the look on my Tuxedo Black Limited, I think it blends in with the crappy plastic trim.
Let me know your thoughts, I was thinking...

I am from Michigan and don't know anyone who uses boards, but I was thinking about making some for scoters and oldsquaws. I was wondering how the V or Y boards handle rough-ish water (2-3 footers) and how much weight it takes to anchor a line of them ...

I use y boards in the bay and have yet to see one flip.You will be fine in anything huntable.The would ride.I use window sash weights,not sure how much they way.Hope this helps I hunt goose v-boards.

12/26/2011: Very SAD news :
Due to unforeseen circumstances, ReflowRepairs in the UK, where T4x and R5x motherboards were reballed, had to close down.
There is still a small quantity of these reballed boards left in the US depot, run by RealBlackStuff...

Thinking about painting my running boards black, probably with spray in bed liner material. They are a brushed grey color now. Anybody ever do this or anything similar?

Mine are the OEM grey tube steps.
Yep, bedlined, I taped off the rubber pads and put a coat of primer over them and started bedlining .
