I'm glad you were able to find are doing better .
Even think about using the weighted blanket over other blankets.

How many of these do we need? Are the miracle blankets worth the extra expense or are the cheaper ones (Summer Infant etc) from BRU ok?

We survived on just one Miracle Blanket, but we....
I thinkNOTHING is as good as the Miracle blanket (they aren't comparable, IMO).
I didn't really care for the Miracle Blanket.
We have 8 (2 pks).
Swaddle blankets are the best.

A few blankets and some throws, how many is too many?
I will say every few months or longer I can have a bit of a weakness for afghans if I see one that stands out at a thrift store. I do have a good way (for me) to store extra blankets when not in use...

Most nights at my in-laws.
I have 1 lightweight blanket on the bed and the use a faux down blanket as a coverlet.

I have several older sheets and blankets (all Weatherbeeta brand, BTW - and over 5 years old) that have lost their waterproofing. What is the best way to revive them?

If you board your horses, you will want to travel with the blankets.
When I finish the first side, I pull the blanket back up for the fumes to dissipate more.
I can be sure all the needle holes are sealed .
