I was recently fortunate enough to purchase a few pieces of exquisite lace from the estate of a French duchess! Unfortunately, it's quite yellowed with age and I would like to brighten it just a bit.

Sometimes it took more than one time to clean them up.

Sun does wonders for bleaching poo stains..
GL outside.
I make a paste out of it and let the paste sit on the stain .
Oxy Clean normally does it for us.

I can get a 32oz container of peroxide at the dollar store, so that would be enough would cost just under a quarter... .
I'm actually doing a load of wash of oxygen bleach.
oxi clean at the dollar tree and add it to my homemade detergent.

If your t a couple of washings.
It really whitens whites.
Then wash as normal with a little more oxi clean.
For couple of hours.
Soak them in the washer with hot water and Oxi clean.
You will get a pleasant surprise.

I've acquired a decent old Schwinn Approved Stewart-Warner speedo, one of the big round plastic models, and the housing is in good shape but it's seriously yellowed, apparently from sunlight. It's so uniformly yellowed that you'd think it had been molded...

It will clean and maybe fade someTry soaking in hydrogen peroxide for a few hours and then in bleach diluted with water for a half going to explore the bleach....
Full strength even.
Or any other vinyl or plastic part with bleach.

I used liquid Tide without bleach when I washed my chesty in the machine.
Trying to clean stink out.

I use Wal-Mart brand....Great Value..bleach for colors...HE for front.
I use Clorox 2, Unscented.
I used to use Clorox 2 but have switched over to just using Oxy-Clean.
I use Clorox for colors.

They do not, it could damage your hat.
This is just an experiment to test the effect of oxygen to a hat.
In this case, the result was good. That does not mean this will work for other hats as well .. You could ruin your hat so.
