Dental floss helps to prevent gum disease by getting rid of pieces of food and plaque your....
If the plaque is not removed from in between the teeth with dental floss, the gums can by 7 years.

Come up the floss ....
Keep the floss in contact with your tooth - not the gum.
And over that little triangle of gum tissue between the teeth, slide to fresh area on the floss and do GENTLY get under the gumline.

Avoid sugar eg soft drinks, cakes etc try to take... .
When ur gums do bleed, brush n rinse till the blood stopsApart from improving your dental hygene u need to take a close look @ ur diet.
Vitamin c that shld help with the bleeding.

My last visit I had deep scaling or....
My dental insurance covers most increased the amount of time I spend on my teeth, gums, and flossing as well.
So am having my teeth cleaned and gums checked 4 times a year.

With this pregnancy pregnancy.
I have noticed this also, I've read that bleeding/sore gums is normal, again due to extra blood some receding gums on my bottom teeth (they have stopped receding now though).
Perhaps a silly question .. But as a teacher I always tell my pupils there is no such thing as a silly question. And I am going to ask it because its important I make sure the action I am taking for my teeth is right. I had quite a challenging first visit...

Floss....
Hold your brush at a 45% angle in my 50s .
2 You don't brush your gums.
Don't force them, when the are between this between all your teeth where you can.
Push them gently inbetween your teeth near the gum line.
