So i got back from the doctors today and i have high blood pressure. So now shes making me get checked once a week for a month to see if anything changes..
and so knowing me i goggled this shit and found out "someone with a blood pressure level of 135...

Just came from the docs, I have some minor surgery coming up. The day I started lifting, my blood pressure was a little low, now today, it is too high apparently.
Not too assed as I feel fine, but what could be causing it. From low to high in 2-3 months...

Anything above 34cm (13 inches) and you may need to use a large adult blood pressure cuff.
I had high blood pressure until my then new doctor told me they needed to use a larger cuff.

Not seeking medical advice, but curious if you have high blood pressure and how does that effect your training and competition. Endurance exercise is great for your cardiovascular health, but how do you weigh the benefits if you have heart conditions....

Well, while everything is well at the moment my blood pressure is up and I am now on bed rest. Also the baby turned over and is now breach and disinclined to go right again. Nothing comes easy this pregnancy!

A little TMI here but my doctor has rx'd me Flomax because I've got some issues emptying my bladder fully. Evidently flomax also lowers blood pressure (or can). So I was wondering if any of you folks have any experience.

(That I am aware! I haven't had a problem either but I actually have high blood pressure.
I'm on high blood pressure meds and they have not affected me in any way.

I'm four months in, and my blood pressure had dropped significantly. Now, I'm getting this symptoms of HBP back. Hot, flushed face...headaches. checked it and sure enough, its up to 140/90. Any ideas? I hate when my BP gets up, I feel bad and get scared...

It boosts your circulation and IMHO exercise is what keeps my HDL/LDL ratios in tune more so than diet, so YES, I think the exercise may be the deciding factor for you .
I find both my exercise and cholesterol are better with regular exercise .

I went to the Dr recently about one thing and at the visit he decided to take my blood pressure because it hasn't been measured in years.
It was way to high and he took blood tests which have now told him my liver, kidney, thyroid, sugar and cholesterol...

This is bub number 3 and I'm 30 weeks. I've never had blood pressure problems as I normally have quite low blood pressure and the highest I've hit in past pregnancies is 110/60. I've just been tested for gestational diabetes and I don't have that either...
