AnyDVD HD can.
I do not believe either DVD43 or VLC will do which decrypts DVDs in the background and shows them to the player as region free.
Strip the region codes from (most?) HD and Blu-Ray disks.

This is what multiAVCHD pops up says (....
It to be able to play on all blu ray players in blu ray format, i was just testing out a short clip to see to dvd or blu-ray discs and watch them that way.

To answer the OP - there are many Blu Ray players that now come with the streaming Netflix combo, the Blu-Ray player can talk to the TV over the HDMI cable and auto-switches the TV's input to consider getting....

After an extended holiday the account is back. I've just the Sony hack at present but the others will follow very shortly.
Hopefully in the next few days I will also have an account for 900/1100 models as this one is not compatible with those models.

It should also be possible for some.
Selling point for the vendors of Blu-ray players, although perhaps not so good for the vendors of 3d the uptake of 3d Blu-ray players and 3d movies in general though.

I bought the wife a few Blu Ray DVD's for Xmas but forgot that you can't play Blu Ray DVD's on a standard DVD which the TV in the bedroom has Built-in.
She could watch them downstaires but I would get a shed load of brownie points if I could replace...

Put a Blu-ray disc in the drive and it just keeps clicking - does this with any Blu-ray disc I try. Put a regular DVD in and it plays - does this with any DVD. Anyone have or heard of this problem?

I just ran into some weirdness today.
I used Avid DVD 6.4.4 to author a simple, single still image menu with a single button that links to a single short film that loops back to the menu when done. I then used Avid DVD to write everything to a Blu-ray...

Mark Job sometimes crash to desktop on our system and it was producing Blu-ray's which would not play properly it insure compliance....
Revert back to version 6.1.1 and all your Blu-ray discs will play on everything.
Is no good.
