AnyDVD HD can.
I do not believe either DVD43 or VLC will do which decrypts DVDs in the background and shows them to the player as region free.
Strip the region codes from (most?) HD and Blu-Ray disks.

My Panasonic DVD Freeview Writer plays DVDs to my Panasonic TXL3710g10b pretty disappointingly if I'm honest. Nothing special.

The 'normal' DVD player will upconvert to compare is Blu-Ray and HD-DVD-up-convert quality.
WILL have much better quality when viewing a Blu-Ray DVD.

Afaik, no plans for pioneer, the guy is a panny fanboy... .
If you have a 300 series 3D player it rises up to €50.
It depends on the specific player, but in my case it was €30.
Have to make? Just Panasonic, what about Pioneer? are plans there .
