First off, I have an electronics backround.
I have seen on this list the statement that if your ICM is leaking green goo, it's bad.
The green goo is PROBABLY insulating/heat sink dielectric, so why does that make the module bad?

Green goo isn't really a good way I replaced the water pump on my neighbors Olds 98 with a Buick 3800.
I've seen several ICMs go bad that have had no green goo on them.
